Our wedding stationary and design

The stationary execution ended up being a pain in the ass because our new printer does NOT take well to any kind of unusual paper. I had intended to use watercolor paper with a deckled edge, but the printer just spat it out with scuff marks or refused to print on it all together. I could have bit the bullet and looked for a printing service, but in my obsessed mind, that would be admitting defeat. I instead developed a ridiculous technique for printing each page individually, which involved attaching each leaf to a parent paper that would help stabilize it in the printer, and used this for all the invitations and reception place cards. I probably would have been happier with the end result had I looked into a professional designer, but what good is an art degree if you can’t cobble together some passable stationary? I don’t have many good photos of the printed versions, but these are the designs themselves.
