Painting Timelines

Layout, canvas coverage, mistakes, fatigue, confusion, satisfaction, and directional changes are all part of a painting. These are inherent stopping points in the painting process that make the painter step back and observe. I periodically take pictures of in-progress work so that I can look at things more objectively. These documentations accumulate over time, preserving each painting's course in segments.
