Reminder: Paintings on display at GFJ Memorial Library (and new painting just about done)
To everyone living in the Binghamton area, be sure to check out the George F. Johnson Memorial Library art wall in Endicott, NY. Some of my paintings are being exhibited there through the end of March, so you still have a chance to check them out! Special thanks to Cathy Seary, Dunscombe Senior, and the library staff for helping put the show together! Also, it's worth a trip to the Sidney Memorial Public Library to see my mom's beautiful vibrant Pysanky designs (Ukrainian eggs), on display for another couple days. The women on my mother's side have a proclivity for small, detail-oriented work and I owe a lot of my painting style to growing up around Pysanky. You can see some of my Aunt Mary's pysanky here. My mom's work can be seen below.
I would also like to introduce a new painting (not in the exhibition) that I've been working on the last month and a half. It's been serving as a vicarious spring during our weekly snow storms.
