Round Top
On my last day in Endicott I hiked up Round Top, a park that I’ve mentioned here before that’s a few blocks uphill from my parents’ house. We used to do cross country training by running up the wooded trail (first few photos) and then back down the old road (the last photo). At the top is a scenic overlook featuring the valley across neighboring Vestal and Johnson City. I definitely got a little out of breath tromping up and can’t believe we used to do several circuits in a single practice! We don’t have many hills like that in Mansfield; it made me miss the landscape despite all of the huffing and puffing.
